The salad years…

Sun, January 16th 2005

In the early days of Farmer not so John, we used to practice out on Mack’s sister’s farm. Well, as bands often do, we would sometimes record said practices. These recordings would collect in a milk crate along with various other cassettes that found their way into the crate (another thing that all musicians have/had… a milk crate full of unmarked cassettes).

Today I bought a cassette deck and started going through the milk crate (that has since become a bag). I’ll be attending Mack’s wedding in a couple of weeks and thought it would be a nice surprise if I dumped some of them to CD (Mack, if you’re reading this, feel free to act surprised anyway).

Long story longer… here’s a sample of what I found…
