Dear Ohio…

Dear Ohio,

Are you f’ing stupid? Sorry… I mean hi… Ohio. In your quest to be the California of the Midwest, you’ve donned your wool pantsuits proudly and voted for two republicans. Congratulations!

[FLASHBACK FADE OUT]
In a previous life, I was just finishing up a record and was told I needed to affiliate with either BMI or ASCAP. I decided to meet with both factions and decide which was best. BMI talked about how they promote their artists and how they might help my career. ASCAP talked about what a bunch of dicks BMI were. MORAL: Apparently 54% of Ohio musicians are affiliated with ASCAP.

Eight years ago I was fine with people voting for whomever they like… but eight years ago, I still though most of the country were sane and semi-intelligent folks that would never vote for Bush… especially TWICE! And in a pre-post-Bush America, I can no longer blindly turn the other cheek… and so, to my Midwest brethren, I say UP YOURS OHIO! Please take Cleveland and shove it up your buckeye! You are now dead to us and officially part of the Mideast.

Seriously though… who votes for someone who would use a picture of a dude in a turban and/or the red phone as props to further their cause? Who wants that kind of experience?

She’s both desperate and a disgrace to the party, especially when you consider that it’s a mathematical impossibility the she could capture enough delegates to get to Denver…maybe she intends to crash the convention? I think her behavior as her support erodes should tell us everything we need to know about what kind of character and experience she could bring to the job.

I wonder if it wasn’t Limbaugh’s “vote for Hillary since Obama will trash McCain and everyone hates her” strategy paying off. That’s fairly disturbing in itself.

Her performance in the debates was lackluster at best. Obama is probably the best orator to get behind the podium in a Presidential election in sixty years, and although she’s tried to blast his message as empty rhetoric, I think he’s delivered just as many specifics as she has, and doesn’t have the trillion-dollar disgraceful and unconstitutional baggage (Iraq, Iraq, for the love of God Iraq).

Just my thoughts. I hope he hands her her ass.

Say what you want but Obama & his campaign people must shoulder part of the blame for not putting Hillary away. The Rezko thing and the “unofficial” assurances to Canadians about nafta took the wind out of his sails. I was disappointed in his response (or lack of) to these and other attacks - he needs to go on the offensive, get more agressive against both Clinton & McCain.

A lot of idiots still think he’s a Muslim or is against the Pledge of Allegiance, for Christ’s sake. Obama needs to hammer away at McCain’s continuation of Bush’s failed policies and Hillary’s image as a rallying point to unite a divided republican party. Whos’s running his gig anyway?
