Bulls Courtside…

Wed, December 2nd 2009

Tradition dictates that I sit courtside at a Bulls game every year… this tradition also includes them losing whenever we go.

BULLS!

Tue, February 24th 2009

Okay, although almost nobody seems to like the trades the bulls have done last week, I personally love them. I’m happy to have Brad Miller back and it would seem we got John Salmons thrown if for free? Now that’s a deal. I was glad to see Larry go… and Thabo for a 1st round pick? It’s a beautiful thing. Good job Pax.

Playoffs!!!!

Bulls…

Wed, January 14th 2009

Okay. Okay… okay… I’ll say it. I don’t want to say it but I feel like I have to. I mean, I would make you say it if things were reversed. They deserve it and I’m going to say it. Now. Right now… here.

The Bulls totally suck ass this year.

There. I said it. Happy?

Bulls: Nice Job Rook

Wed, October 22nd 2008

Derrick Rose led the Bulls back, down from 26 and laid 30 on Dallas last night… now that’s what I’m talking about! Good job rook… keep it up!

Wrong Wrong Wrong

Thu, May 17th 2007

It’s half-time during game 6 of the Bulls/Pistons game. When last I wrote of my Bulls, I had lost hope. They had become a mere punching bag for Detroit and seemed to be completely outmatched. I was wrong. Dead wrong. I mistakingly despaired over what was only a temporary funk… not again. The last two and a half games have proven that my Bulls are, what they’ve been all year… a tough, scrappy, talented and exciting team of NBA professionals. I will not stray again. This is the team I love… win or lose.

GO BULLS!!!

Look Away!

Tue, May 8th 2007

For my Bulls… this week is as bad as last week was good. For the first time ever, I turned off a Bulls game. I couldn’t watch the beating my poor Bulls are enduring at the hands for Detroit. It’s painful… very painful. The series switches back to Chicago now but even I know it’s only a matter of time. I don’t think home-court can offer enough of a difference for us to overpower Detroit. They match up with us too well and have too much experience. They’re not yet too old to keep up with the Bulls… much the pity.

I will of course be there for my boys and root till the very end. I’ve been through this with them before and it’s losses like these that build champions… but like I did when Steve Nash’s nose starting gushing blood in game 1 with San Antonio, please excuse me if I look away, should games 3 and 4 go the way of the first 2 games. If only 6 stitches could repair my Bulls so easily… oh the humanity.

Warriors WIN!!!!!

Thu, May 3rd 2007

I’m writing this post during the comercials of the 3rd and 4th quarter of the Warriors/Dallas game 6. This series has made some things more apparent and some new things known to me…

  1. Mark Cuban is a total jackass
  2. Nellie is still the teacher… Avery the student
  3. Dirk is definitely not the MVP
  4. Baron Davis, like my beloved Jim McMahon, would be the greatest player in the league… if his body would only allow it
  5. The Warriors are better than Dallas

I am posting this before the end of the game but like I already told you, the Ws are going to win. This was one sweet series… unless you’re Dallas. I do love this game!

Bulls Sweep Heat

Sun, April 29th 2007

Told you so… I could not be happier with my Bulls and BD and my Warriors are about to put the Mavs out as well. It was a beautiful Sunday!

Chicago 96 – Miami 91

Sat, April 21st 2007

bulls.jpgIt’s been a long, odd season but my Bulls finished well (minus the last game). In the end, you will not be seeing the Heat defend their title…

Now, the black shoes are on and the first game is won… GO BULLS (and only to a slightly lesser extent, Go Warriors)!

I’m going to call two first round upsets… the Bulls over Miami and The Warriors (that’s right… I said the Ws!) over Dallas and their league best record and likely MVP (Spreken Sie Dirk?). Though IMHO, Steve Nash should get MVP for the third year. You read it here first (give or take…).

Now if only the Bulls had won

Thu, December 30th 2004

Christmas is a time for giving, sharing, caring and the like… but it always seemed to be missing something… that little something extra… that push over the cliff. This year I found out what… courtside seats at a Bulls game. Really made sharing and caring seem overrated.
